What happened to Joc's Chain????

Yung Joc Got His chain SNATCHED!!!??? Yep , He was was reportedly robbed of his 150-thousand dollar "H" chain during a recent visit to London. According to Britain's Daily Mirror, Joc and T-Pain were at a nightclub when scuffle broke out near them, and during the commotion his chain was snatched. A witness tells the Mirror, "A fight broke out and T-Pain jumped in to save the necklace but he couldn't stop the thief running off." Yung Joc's rep didn't returned calls for comment.

Remember I told yall about the Keyshia Cole interview in Essence Magazine? When she spoke about breaking off an engagement to a man with a ten year old son, that she was dating for a year and a half. Although she did not reveal the identitiy of her fiance, she had been dating the Snowman for some time.
“I just couldn’t do it. It’s weird. After this guy proposed to me, I was like, dang, this is everything a woman lives for: to be married, with a ring, to be able to represent something. But for me, it was the opposite. I was scared. When you get married, you become one; you don’t live just for yourself anymore. I’m just not ready for that. I’m not done with my goals in life. What’s the word when you just kind of fall back and let your man do the man thing? Submit? I’m all jacked up on that word. I just couldn’t submit. But I loved him. That’s the crazy thing about it. It’s been hard because I really missed that child.”
Well, Young Jeezy says the negative comments that former flame Keyshia Cole made in Essence must have been about some other guy. He tells AllHipHop-dot-com, "I guess it's publicity season, everybody trying to sell records. Can't knock her for that, but I ain't really tripping because that don't pertain to me. She can't obviously be talking about me."

Will-I-Am doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand why the black community doesn’t support the black Eyed Peas. He tells the New York Daily News,
"Here we are, one of the biggest groups in the world. [The Peas] go to Moscow and play for 50-thousand people. We go to China and play for 30-thousand people. We go to Brazil and play for a million people on the beach. We're this huge group, produced by a black dude and started by a black dude. So why don't the black community want to own that? It's a touchy thing with me." He was able to vent through his solo debut, Songs About Girls, which came out yesterday. Will says the disc "allowed me...to just make the record I wanted to make. [I didn't] worry about formats and who's going to play it."

JILL SCOTT

Jill Scott admits that she can not relate to the character "Sheila," the emotionally abused wife she plays in the new Tyler Perry film Why Did I Get Married. IN an interview with the Dallas Newspaper Quick She said,

"She's not someone I would personally want to spend time with simply because I have a personal problem with the concept of low self-esteem. I know what it's like to not feel 100 percent, but you can't degrade and belittle me. I may not feel fly today, but you're not gonna put me below the ground. No way." The subject of abuse also hits a bit too close to home. "My mother was married to a very mean man who was physically abusive. The next thing I knew, when I was about four, I remember waking up in my mother's arms. We were on the street, and she had a blanket wrapped around me. I don't know where we were going, but I do remember that we never went back."

JAY-Z! He is releasing a DVD. The documentary of his debut album , Reasonable Doubt, is coming to D-V-D. Classic Albums: Reasonable Doubt, a collection of behind-the-scenes footage and commentary. This DVD will feature interviews with Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, Crazy …I mean Foxy Brown and Irv Gotti, I also heard that there is some classic footage of Jay with the Notorious B-I-G.
The DVD hits store October 30th. But, if you don’t want to wait until then you can catch the special on VH1 Classic next Wednesday.
And More Jay News .. Jay-Z's Roc-a-Wear clothing company is competing with Izod and South Pole for the naming rights to New Jersey's Meadowlands arena -- which has been known as the Continental Airlines Arena since 1996. According to the Bergen Record, the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority -- which owns the building -- may choose the winning bid as early as next Thursday. The winner will have rights to the name for two years -- until Hova's New Jersey Nets head for their new digs in Brooklyn. Jay-Z's reps didn't return our calls for comment. -- Elle Castro

Jay –Z is releasing American Gangster, his second album since returning from retirement, on November 6th. It's based on the upcoming gangster film starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Pharell will be featured on production and the single is going to be “Blue Bagic” ." According to the New York Times, Hova was inspired after watching a screening of the Ridley Scott-directed film. He says, "It was like I was watching the film, and putting it on pause, and giving a back story to the story. It immediately clicked with me. Like Scarface, or any one of those films, you take the good out of it, and you can see it as an inspiring film. Watching that film, it brought back all these memories. It took me back to those emotions." The American Gangster film will hit theaters November 2nd.

SNOOP DOGG DOES IT AGIAN!

Snoop strikes a deal! GUILTY Yep , He took a plea deal with Orange County, California prosecutors on his year old felony weapon possession charge yesterday. For his guilty plea, Snoop was sentenced to three years probation, 160 hours of community service work and will make a 10-thousand-dollar charitable contribution (Oooh that’s a lot of money) . Snoop's attorney told the Associated Press that the felony conviction will be reduced to a misdemeanor if Snoop stays out of trouble for a year. For those of you that don’t remember Snoop was arrested around this time last year at John Wayne Airport after a collapsible baton was found in a bag he was carrying on to a flight.

One down 3 more to go! The GAME was in court in New York City to face charges of impersonating a police officer. I know the GAME was happy when he left because the judge ruled that the charges would be dismissed if he remains clear of any trouble for the next six months. According to Reuters, the Compton, California rapper left the courthouse all smiles, saying, "I love New York, but I hate the system. But I hate every system." The Game got himself into trouble back inn November when he allegedly told a chauffer that he was a police officer and instructed him to run several red lights. The Game still faces charges in Cali for allegedly pulling a gun on a basketball court in Los Angeles. If convicted he could face up to 5 years in prison.

ASHANTI IS BACK!

Ashanti is in another movie! Ashanti stars with Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil: Extinction . And it hit theater TODAY! The movie is about a group of people trying to eliminate a deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead.
When asked about the movie this is what Ashanti had to say,
"We're running low on food, we're trying to find humans and human contact anywhere we can. There's a lot of kids in this one that we pick up along they way. It's definitely about survival." ." The film also stars Ali Larter (Heroes) and Mike Epps.
Ashanti adds Resident Evil to her list of movie accomplishments. She also had roles in John Tucker Must Die and Coach Carter.
Ashanti will release a new C-D, The Declaration, in December. Word is the single titled "Hey Baby (After the Club)," Is GARBAGE! Vibe Confidential reports, "Ashanti's new C-D is scheduled to drop this December, so there's still time for a better song to be dropped as a single, cause this ain't the one." A blogger on the site adds, "I really don't dig this jam too much. Maybe I'll listen to it once or twice more. Hopefully her next single will be much, much better." Ashanti talked about the pressures in the industry. She said,
"Being in this industry, sometimes you think about the negative, sometimes you think about the future and what you're gonna do and how you're gonna add one and one together to equal two."

Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez Lives on through her foundation, which will open her Hogar de Amor Children's Home (Home of Love) and Lisa Lopes Rural School in Honduras this weekend. Lisa Lopes Foundation executive director Ron Lopes says, "The programs will focus on teaching self-sufficiency and career orientation, thereby providing families with the tools to lead healthy and successful lives. L-L-F future goals include building a larger school, medical clinic, organic garden, volunteer house and a play area, outside of the Hogar.

The Game and Timbaland are the targets of a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by an Indian film and music company. Allegedly they used one of their tracks on Game's album The Documentary without permission.

Six black students at Jena High School in Central Louisiana were arrested last December after a school fight in which a white student was beaten and suffered a concussion and multiple bruises. The six black students were charged with attempted murder and conspiracy. They face up to 100 years in prison without parole. The fight took place amid mounting racial tension after a black student sat under a tree in the schoolyard where only white students sat. The next day three nooses were hanging from the tree. Jena is a small town nestled deep in the heart of Central Louisiana. Until recently, you may well have never heard of it. But this rural town of less than 4,000 people has become a focal point in the debate around issues of race and justice in this country.
Last December, six black students at Jena High School were arrested after a school fight in which a white student was beaten and suffered a concussion and multiple bruises. The six black students were charged with attempted second-degree murder and conspiracy. They face up to 100 years in prison without parole. The Jena Six, as they have come to be known, range in age from 15 to 17 years old.
Just over a week ago, an all-white jury took less than two days to convict 17 year-old Mychal Bell, the first of the Jena Six to go on trial. He was convicted of aggravated battery and conspiracy charges and now faces up to 22 years in prison.
Black residents say that race has always been an issue in Jena, which is 85 percent white, and that the charges against the Jena Six are no exception.
The origins of the story can be traced back to early September when a black high school student requested permission to sit under a tree in the schoolyard where usually only white students sat. The next day three nooses were found hanging from the tree.

Lloyd, Jagged Edge, Tank and Bobby Brown are among the performers who've signed on for the Jena 6 Empowerment Concert, September 29th in Birmingham, Alabama. The goal is to raise national awareness of incidents of violence between African-American and white high school students that have occurred over the past year in Jena, Louisiana.

Melanie went to drop the baby off to Eddie and when she arrived to the house the maid was there and Melanie gave the baby to the maid. Well evidently there was a lack of communication because Eddie didn’t come home for 4 days not knowing that the baby was there. The Damn baby was there for 4 days without either of the parent knowing?????? Um… as a parent when you drop your kid off shouldn’t you confirm the drop off and then wouldn’t you wanna check on your kid. I can somewhat understand dropping the kid off to the maid but I would have to call a lil later and make sure that my childs father eventually made it to the house!!! 4 DAYS!!!

It’s official 975,000 copies! Kanye’s “ Graduation” Outsold 50 Cent’s “ Curtis “ album. Fiddy sold 691,000 copies.

Personally…who give a damn! It was just a publicity stunt. Er thing we see now days is a publicity stunt! In more Kanye news a source has told the New York Daily News that MTV has said (F- Kanye! Well Not literally) “ They have decided he is just too difficult to deal with” They have even booted him out of a voters awareness add starring Bill Clinton because Ye said that he wanted Bill Clinton to call him personally. He is rumored to have been replaced with Alicia Keys. MTV reps says,” Saying MTV wishes not to work with Kanye West is inaccurate. He is the one who has been very vocal in saying he will never work with us again.” Kanye’s camp has not been available for comment.
Kanye is a trip and then some! Does anyone remember when he got PUNK’D on MTV? He showed his ASS! After that I was like Ugh, I do not like him.

Oh! And let me give you some additional 50 Cent news. He reveals who he's eying for the 2008 presidential race. He tells Time magazine, "I like [Democratic nominee hopeful] Hilary [Clinton]." Laughing, he then added, "I think she was already our president once. Considering they disagree on everything I am sure Kanye West will be favoring chief Clinton opponent Barack Obama.
