OOOH!!! Remember when the Game had a fight at his Peeps Funeral? Well here is the Update:

According to TMZ, the Hawthorne City Attorney officially charged the rapper (real name: Jayceon Taylor), after his cousin Robert "Kirky" Kirkwood filed a police report days after the funeral of Game's cousin and Kirkwood's sister.

The altercation was reportedly over money. Kirky told TMZ that he and Game got into an argument outside the church where the service was held, over the cost of the funeral, which he says the rapper agreed to pay for.

Kirky claims Game agreed to cover the funeral costs, but when it came time to pay up, the rapper left him and his family with the bill.

Game later explained that he felt as though his relatives were trying to extort money from him when he felt it wasn't his obligation.

The rapper said he did agree to pay for the casket and flowers, but Kirky's family rejected to the offer.

"I feel like they were just trying to play me out of [$17,000]," Game said during an interview on Arizona's 98.3 radio station back in July. "I talked to my mom about it. My mom said 'you should pay for the casket and the flowers, if you wanna do anything.' They rejected that because they wanted me to pay for the whole thing."

After the family squabble, where Game allegedly punched Kirky, the rapper said his family was now his worst enemy.

Referencing a line from the late Notorious B.I.G. Game said, "Mo money, mo problems. Now, my family is my worst enemy. I hate them more than I hate 50 man."

According to TMZ, Game is currently on probation for a previous firearms offense -- which landed him in jail earlier this year -- and if convicted of this new battery charge, a judge could violate him and throw in jail.

The death of Dr Dre’s son was not ‘foul play’ –according to LA Police.

An autopsy on the body on Monday could not find a cause of death with cops saying they are awaiting reports.

Police Captain Ed Winter told People.com: "There were no signs of trauma or foul play. We'll be doing toxicology and other tests, which will take up to six weeks."

Dr Dre released a statement earlier this week saying: “Dr Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time.”

DMX has PISSED OFF a Florida judge by USING THE F-WORD in court after he was refused bail.
DMX, who is facing drug possession charges, appeared at Miami-Dade Circuit Court in Florida on Monday (26Aug08) hoping to be freed on bail.
But the judge said "HELL NALL!!!" and he was told he will have to spend another month behind bars - causing the rapper to mutter:

“I ain’t going back to no fc*king jail,” said DMX (aka Earl Simmons). “Oh, well that just ingratiated you to me,” said Judge Lawrence Schwartz. “I’ve never heard the F-word before, so it’s OK.” The judge then warned Simmons’ lawyer that the rapper had better not curse in his courtroom again.

Dr.Dre's son Found Dead

THE LAist is reporting that The Los Angeles County Coroner reported today that the son of hip hop record producer and rapper Dr. Dre has died. Andre Young Jr. was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

Young was out the previous night and returned home around 5:30 A.M., according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 A.M., found him unresponsive, and called 911. He was 20 years of age.


The cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report.

Melbourne Herald Sun is reporting Snoop (real name: Calvin Broadus) is slated to tour in Australia in October, and immigration officials have granted the rapper a visa on character grounds.

"A visa will be granted to enable a 17-day visit from October 21," a department spokesman told the paper. "His application has been approved on character grounds."

Yung Berg did an interview a while back and someone asked him about Trick Trick and he was like "WHO?" long short he said some f-ed up *ish in addition to some other things about Detroit. Well, Trick Trick put it out there that he was gonna beat his Azz!!

Well Yung Berg came to Detroit on Friday to perform at Hot 102.7's Summer Jamz 11 on Saturday. He took it upon himself to got to the night club Plan B which just so happens to be Tricks spot and his peeps are head of security.

Yung Berg Steps in the building and Got his Ass handed to him.

When he was taken back to the hotel. He had on ONE SHOE, A SOCK, SHIRT TORE OFF AND NO PANTS!!!! DAYUM!!! and they took his Transformer chain!

He tried to get the first flight out Saturday morning but htere wasn't a flight available.

Of course he did not perform at Summer Jamz 11.

Dayum!!!! he was listed at no. 7 on Forbes' Hip-Hop Cash Kings BUT earning a reported $17 in the past 12 months, Swizz Beatz doesn't exactly have his taxes in order

According to a report by TMZ, the superproducer is in debt to Uncle Sam (aka the IRS) for nearly $900,000.

IRS records show that Swizzy (real name: Kasseem Dean) and his estranged wife Mashonda have an $842,644.52 tax lien against them.

THE BRAT IS GOING TO JAIL!!!!

Da Brat was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday (August 22), stemming from a nightclub assault in November of last year.

According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Superior Court Judge Gail Flake handed down the verdict while members of the rapper's family quietly wept.

"I love y'all," Da Brat (real name: Shawntae Harris) said as she was led out of the courtroom. Her family replied together, "We love you too."

In addition to the prison term, the judge sentenced the rapper to seven years probation and 200 hours of community service. She must also get substance abuse treatment, a mental evaluation, and attend anger management classes.

Felicia Pearson aka Snoop Got Arrested!!!!

Actress Felicia "Snoop" Pearson, from HBO's series "The Wire," was arrested on drug charges on Thursday (August 21), after police picked her up for refusing to cooperate as a witness in a murder trial.

According to the Baltimore Sun, 28-year-old Pearson was arrested at her home in Baltimore after members of the city's homicide unit entered the residence by forced entry to serve a "body attachment" warrant, which allows authorities to detain her until the September 16 murder trial of Steven James Lashley.

Upon entry of her home, police say they found two blunts containing a small amount of marijuana, resulting in Pearson being charged with one count of drug possession.

The actress is said to have watched Lashley stab three men, one of them died, following an argument outside New York Fried Chicken on The Block in 2005.

She is expected to be called as a witness during the trial.

The paper reports that a warrant was issued for Pearson after she failed to return phone calls from prosecutors and appear during an April 21 trial date.

She is now being held, pending testimony in the aforementioned trial.
